Editorial Policy
How LabWise Biomed creates, reviews, and maintains its educational content.
Our Editorial Mission
LabWise Biomed aims to explain biomedical science and laboratory concepts accurately, clearly, and safely. Every article is written to be educationally useful without crossing into medical advice, clinical guidance, or personal health interpretation.
Who Creates the Content
Content is written by James, a biomedical science graduate holding a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University, with experience around medical laboratory and hospital environments. The author is not a doctor and does not provide medical advice. All content is written from an educational science perspective, not a clinical one.
How We Write
Content is grounded in established biomedical and laboratory science. We use accurate terminology while explaining it in plain English. Articles are written to help readers understand concepts, not to help them self-diagnose or self-treat.
We do not use sensational language, make unsubstantiated claims, or write in ways that could mislead readers about the diagnostic or treatment implications of any lab test or biomedical concept.
How Articles Are Created
Each article begins with research drawn from authoritative sources including peer-reviewed literature, NHS guidance, IBMS publications, and established laboratory science references.
AI-assisted tools may support research organisation, content structuring and language editing. Every article is manually reviewed and revised by James before publication. Content is never automatically published.
Articles do not provide personal diagnosis or treatment guidance. Readers who identify factual errors are encouraged to report them via the Contact page.

Sources and Evidence
Where relevant, content references established biomedical literature, laboratory science textbooks, clinical guidelines, and public health resources. We aim to be transparent about the basis for claims. See our References Policy for more information.
